In late 2014, Norlin was invited to make a jacket for a charity auction event in support of a most worthy cause. It was a great honor to be asked, especially since we were not yet in production, and so we decided to go all-out. We made a full tweed suit for that event, and in a desire to go above and beyond, we designed in-house a unique handbag shape that we used to make a matching handbag from the suit fabric.

Once the handbag shape was complete, we started tinkering with the fabric and developed a way to incorporate a tinsel yarn into the existing fabric to give the handbag a more powerful presence.

And thus was born the Siân handbag. This spring, we have a new tweed design to offer plus the addition of ostrich crown and full quill ostrich to the Siân line.

This fall, we are developing an additional all-leather version of the Siân, which will be created in classic black, plus we will present tweed and ostrich handbags in new colors. Stay tuned.
